Made by hand with black terracotta clay, glazed to create a milky white finish. Slight variances in shape, size & color may occur, part of the inherent charm of the CARRON handmade process, every one of our ceramic is unique. More material & crafting informations here.

The story behind

Pivoine

The peony has been known since ancient times by the Greeks and the Chinese among others, it is believed to have medicinal properties. Peonies are large, colorful and fragrant flowers with spectacular blooms of beauty. In this table service, the peonies, although fragrance-free, have lost none of their beauty, they are placed on the entire plate. The perfect spring table service for lunch or for more cozy dinners where the candles will make the petals dance.
