# CARRON Paris

> CARRON Paris is a French art de vivre design brand founded in 2015 by the mother and son team Mathilde and Charles Carron-Astier de Villatte. Descendants of the Carron-Astier de Villatte family, their savoir-faire is in ceramics, glass and delicate fragrance pieces, created as limited editions and unique handmade pieces at their atelier in the south of France. Collections are designed by Mathilde, or in collaboration with guest artists.

The ceramics are faience (earthenware), never porcelain: black terracotta clay glazed to a milky white, some pieces finished with genuine gold. CARRON began in Paris (6th arrondissement, now the showroom at 9 rue de Nevers, by appointment); the atelier is now in the south of France, near Montpellier. Worldwide shipping.
