Escutcheon Large shallow plate

This escutcheon shallow plate of the Charles collection was designed by Mathilde Carron-Astier de Villate in 2014, it is presented here as a bowl plate, it can be laid on the pit of a proportionally smaller plate. This original plate while remaining classic, can be used for homemade soups but also desserts such as an “isle flotant” or “chocolate cake and custard.” This handmade ceramic plate is entirely made in our workshops with a typical French savoire-faire, combined with a history of decoration and especially the rich table art of the 17th and 18th centuries.
