The sparrow, a typical bird of the capital city's gardens, was called "Piaf" during the 19th century. He inspired the name of popular singers, the "môme Moineau" in 1920, then the famous "môme Piaf". Also as an advised Parisian, it was natural that seeing the bird come to life on the edge of the plates and dishes in this collection, Mathilde Carron-Astier de Villatte named it “Sparrow”. The shape of the plate is round and simple, the only motif being this sparrow and the branches on which it rests. This service will lightly adorn your country tables.
